Africa is often underestimated or even disregarded in terms of Industry and economy.While it may be still behind the top of the world, it is certainly of importance on the world stage. To Strengthen and advance its position on there, the Africa Industrialization Dayis Celebrated Yearly on the 20th of November.
The Africa Industrialization day or AID was established in 1990 by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UDINO) to bring together various organizations, governments and Industry representatives throughout all of Africa to shine a spotlight on certain African Industries and to further boost the industrial development of the whole continent.

This Year the theme of the aid is “Promoting Regional Value Chains in Africa: A pathway for accelerating Africa’s structural transformation, industrialization and pharmaceutical production” with witch new solutions and actions to strengthen the pharmaceutical sector in Africa are discussed and Manifested.
Furthermore new ideas and innovations in regard to the Africa Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA), witch was launched on the 22nd of March this Year, are being promoted and realized.
