One year ago I was in my sofa and I decided to watch a film. I looked for and looked for and I found a film about a little boy that he had a deformation in his face. I thought it could be interested me the story behind the boy. The film is called “Wonder” and it is a beautiful story of how children can open their minds as well as support and build a relationship based on respect for people that is totally different from you.

Well, I'm going to talk about this film because I like to explain you about this syndrome called “Treacher Collins” has an International day, more specifically 28 May. I'm sure that you have never heard this syndrome because It is not famous as Down Syndrome or Asperger Syndrome but I would like to talk about this.

First of all, you should know that Treacher Collins Syndrome is a cranioencephalic malformation and incurable that affect two of 100,000 births. It is caused by a genetic mutation of Chromosome 5 that it is the responsible of build our face. And it’s important to add that it’s affect as men as woman for equal. People that suffer this symptom births without one or both ears, sunken cheekbones, mandible doesn’t grow, they have narrow pharynx and in many occasions with opened palate. Moreover, they can present ocular, additive, digestive or respiratory troubles.

They have enough troubles during their life and we have to do a reflection. We must help them to integrate and developed their social skills and avoid prejudice for their appearance because they have the same capacity as you to work, doing sport, going supermarket, having a beer whatever they want. And like the film with the support of the family and friends they can leave of their own bubble and find out more beyond of fearing and frustration to be physically different.

There is a page (fragmentsofextinction.org) where you can listen to the last tropical forests on the planet. This is an acoustic art project that explores the ecoacoustic complexity of the few equatorial forests that are still intact. The team of this non-profit organization travels through various ecosystems of the world capturing its most tangible characteristics: sounds. Unique sounds of recorded forests before they lose their biodiversity, threatened ecosystems in danger of extinction.

As they say: "If we take into account that the latest predictions by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) indicate that half of the planet's species will have become extinct by the end of this century (most of them never will be discovered by science), we understand that it is urgent to record sound samples of these diverse and unique, as well as fragile, ecosystems: “organized soundscapes”; snippets of sounds from the original nature."

The recordings have been carried out in three representative areas of primary tropical forest, in the Amazon, Africa and Borneo. The reason these forests have been chosen is because the equatorial forest biome integrates the most complex ecosystems on Earth. They are also the most fragile ecosystems, where the extinction rate is higher.

The decision to record their sounds is based on the fact that the acoustic setting of these ecosystems is practically unknown, despite the fact that the eco-acoustic surprisingly reveals the order and balance of these forests. Sound is the great underestimated element in the natural dynamics of ecosystems. These sounds made art, can help to raise awareness about the sixth mass extinction that we live this century. Until this, no similar project existed, and in a few decades these recordings will constitute important fragments of an irreversibly degraded acoustic heritage.

If you have never been in a tropical forest, you cannot even imagine what it is to be in the middle of the jungle at night listening to an infinite number of sounds at once, coming from unknown places ... unable to identify the animal that emits it. It is a sound that surrounds you and that makes you part of something much greater than you, of a stage that you do not know how far it extends and in which you feel insignificant and lost.

Coronavirus is changing our perceptions and thinkings about what we have to value and and what stuff are less important. One of these things is the football. Many people think that football is having different treats regarding medics, nurs or whatever job that has contact with coronavirus. But I want to give another positive point of view to football. Obviously they have a reason because of If it was not for all the people that are working for us to have food in the supermarkets, coronavirus's sicks can go to the hospital or medics and nurses can cure us, it would have been a world disaster. Nevertheless, football can help to forget by 90 minutes our quarantine and not only this. I'm going to tell you how my city´s team helps children to practices and who knows? to become a professional football player in the future.

Benjamin Zarandona is an ex-football player who played in many Spanish teams, one of them Real Betis Balonpie. He collaborates with many clubs around Spain to give sport material like boots, shirts, pants or football socks.

This material is delivered to Equatorial Guinea to be enjoying by girls and boys. The aim is to promote the diversity and equality through playing football. Also to give children an activity to do sport.
First I want that you know what is Elche CF and its history. Founded in 1923 as the result of a merger between all of the town's clubs, Elche entered the league system in 1929, reaching Second División in 1934 and La Liga in 1959, finishing fifth in the latter tournament in 1963–64. It was runner-up in the Copa del Rey in 1969. They were relegated at the end of the 2014–15 season due to unpaid tax debts.

Elche has played 21 seasons in the Spanish First Division and also has a record in 2013 when the team was in first position since first date to last date. Now it is fighting to play the play-off to be the next season at First Division with Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.

Elche a big city near Alicante (Spain). Elche CF has collaborated with this project every year. Each year the club deliver boxes with sport equipment. Zarandona always has mentioned Elche CF as one of the Spanish clubs that more support gives him in this solidary project. Now, Elche´s shirt could help children around Guinea to play the king’s sport.

This is the other face of football. It is not only go to stadium, millionaire salaries, big transfers or push up cups. Football are feeling by one team, supporting people that they don’t have money to buy boots and help children to develop a grow up like a responsible citizen.

The American policy changed forty-eight years ago when five men invaded the building of Democratic party and this action caused Nixon resign.
It is known as “Watergate scandal” that showed the deshonest behaviour by White House. The steal made that the american society saw by the first time how a President of the United States of America renounced and automatically the nacional policy.

The finding
June 17, 1972, the police arrested five mens that they try to steal and brought documents in the Watergate building in Washington. One of these men was James McCord, he was the Nixon´s security boss. The suspects were found with a different articles, including tools to force the door lock, 100 dollars with sequence series and a device to intercept police’s calls, suggested The Washington Post.
The White House distanced itself from the thieves and at the begin of the Nixon case was not involved. He was chosen to be President four years more but few months after Congres’s journalists and researchers began to research each detail of the steal and finally, The White House was involved.

Deep Throat
Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward were working like journalists in The Washington Post and they started to research thanks a piece of certain information gave by “Deep Throat”. Today we know that this source was Mark Felt, a great FBI official. After a couple of months, the burglars declared guilty and they were condemned by conspiracy and other charges.

The renounce
People began to ask for celebrating judgment to Nixon and the White House accepted to give some recordings but one of them had 18 minutes less. In April of 1974, the White House published more than 1,200 pages with edited transcriptions of this tapes. But they refused to give the real tapes.
The Supreme Court of United States of America ordered the White House to deliver each tape. Nixon published the tapes, including "The Smoking Gun". This could demonstrate that Nixon tried to use CIA to lock FBI investigation about steal.
The tape connected directly with Nixon and the support in the Congress disappear. Nixon decided to resigned in august. However, Nixon never admitted his involvement with the steal.

The forgiveness
Gerald Ford was elected immediately as President after Nixon´s exit. He said: "This large national nightmare has finished". One month later, the new President forgave Nixon.
