Welcome my friend
I am pretty sure you heard a lot of talk about the vegetarian diet by now?
You think is just the new fashion and it will be over soon?
I am happy to say to you, it is not the case.
It is necessary to understand the initiative behind the concept to stop to eat meat and animals products. If you want to know why, I invite you to follow me in this article I have written specially for you. Yes, because not long time ago, I was like you, I ate meat without knowing the impact of my nutrition. I hope to answer your questions and open your mind to approach people who criticize without know the sense.
So first, I want inform you, the varied vegetable proteins satisfy very well our nutritional need in proteins. Moreover, now it is to say, the vegetarian meals bring a much bigger nourishing variety. Gotcha!

Then, level health and mood the vegetarian diet is the best!
You are less subject to cancers and cardiovascular diseases. But if you are smoker is it another kettle of fish, you know that.
Not only, the fruits and vegetables help you to fight the CVA (cerebrovascular accident), it is badass!
So the Parkinson diseases, because we have to admit, it is shit this disease. Imagine every time you go take a beer in the bar, the time it is come to your mouth, you will have spilled it everywhere, you will have lose your money and the barman will push you outside thinking you are drunk. The evening wasted.
Your bones are much better protected, so it is cool if you are a fan of sensation sports. You are ready.
And all the fabulous diets for a bikini body you read about in the magazines come with a boomerang effect. They’re so useless and depressing, we have to admit it. You know, the solution is simple because a vegetarian diet helps you to control your weight and wear these famous jeans of your dreams.

Now, it is time for the hippie-cliché moment, you have to suspect it, we are going to speak about the environment. Yes, my dear friend, it is very important. It is not by laughing about the people taking action for our planet than you sit in your sofa you are going to change the world. Maybe yes is possible, if you eat vegetarian, without move your help a lot the earth.
I explain, in a single day you don’t eat meat, you save 5000 liters of fresh water of the planet, the equivalent of 3 months of showers. Cool, right?
You will help to decrease greenhouse gases, because the meat production is responsible to 18% of global emissions in contrast to 13% of all forms of confused transports.
It is important to know that modern agriculture is responsible of the f****** half of the global warming. Do you realize, my dear? The half!… (Leslie calm down, take a breath….)
Back on point, eating vegetarian helps to reduce the forest destruction and save the biodiversity. In South-America, huge parts of the forest are destroyed in order to plant soya which will be fed not to humans but to animals. So, many plants and animals lose their living space.
Furthermore, reduction of the pollution of ground, air and water is another advantage since the cattle industry products millions of tons of urine and excrements which pollute our lakes, rivers and groundwater. Fun the Sunday bathing in the poo of animals…

When we speak about the vegetarian diet, we think directly about the protection of animals. Eating meat guarantees cruelty against animals. If you don’t eat your dog or your cat, why eat a chicken, a cow, a pig, which has emotions and characters, too. Don’t answer me “Because it was always like this”, seriously this answer makes no sense.
Especially when we know the condition of breeding and slaughter as well as the overfishing in the ocean carry all the same to think. Know the cows, chickens and pigs consume 70% of the totality of antibiotics sold in the United States. Enjoy your meal!

For finish, speak about the society!
A biggest percentage of the soya and wheat culture serves to feed the animals of breeding in the detriment of the population. A reduction of 10% of the consumption of meat in developed countries would supply more legumes, cereals and water to feed 60 Million humans who starve every year. This is a good action!
So, eating veg contributes to the peace in the world. Especially at the level of the religious rules, yes, finish the malaise during the family meal for knowing if the meat is halal, kosher, etc. Because there are no meat in veg meal! QED!

That’s all my friend, I really want that this article helps you realize the impact your diet has on the world and your health. It is for all these reasons that the people become veg and not because it is the fashion. The basic approach is personal but taken with lot of consciousness. We can’t change usual diet overnight but step by step. Our dependence of the cattle industry is killing us, and destroys our climate and our planet.
