During this week, we organized different events to make people aware about the advantage of more sustainable urban transport and, in general, about the environmental issue, that is one of the most important challenges that we are facing. We promoted this event on Praxis social media to engage more young people and to tell them to join us in this challenge. Also, we had the opportunity to join a group of young people for the global strike against climate change, that took place last Friday. In fact, the mobility week was an opportunity for us to bring up the major issue of climate change. If we start to think differently and use sustainable transport for our everyday needs like bike, car sharing, and bus, instead of cars, we will have a chance to fight climate change. As we already know, climate studies scientifically demonstrate significant increases of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, that increase the greenhouse effect and consequently the temperature of the entire planet. The climate change is happening for real, and now we can see this: every day tons of forests are burning, the sea level and the temperature is rising. Politics must take serious action.
Now we have the possibility to change political agenda and bring this issue to the ones that have the power to take actions. For this reason, we must stand up together and take part in the global events and change our bad habits.
