About Us

We are ERASMUS+ volunteers from different European countries doing our European Voluntary Service (EVS) right now in Greece. We participate in a project called Mediart which is provided by the organisation Praxis Greece.

OUR WORK

The
Volunteers

Currently the volunteer group consists of Petra, Edina, Dora, Luigi, Felix, Anastasios, Bjarne, Jordy and Carlos.
Felix, Bjarne and Anastasios are from Germany, Petra, Dora and Edina from Hungary, Luigi is from Italy, Carlos from Spain and Jordy is from France.
We work on UNESCO campaigns such as the "International or Awareness Days". We support them via social media by creating broadcasts, radio spots and writing articles for this blog. 
During the EVS, we can broaden our horizon and gain deeper knowledge about the UN's work. We become aware of possibilities to take part and participate as an active EU-citizen.
Furthermore, every volunteer has his own broadcast on Rodon FM in the afternoon about a topic of his choice.

Katerina
Emmanouilidou

Katie is the president of Praxis Greece and all of Praxis tasks are coordinated and directed by her. Furthermore, she helps the volunteers in their campaigns and supports their research.
The target group of all workd are young people from the local society and in general the European youth.  In order to support young people, PRAXIS fosters  the cooperation between schools and youth organizations on the one hand and trains a European Youth Competence Team which transfers knowledge and experience on the other hand.

Anna
Alevra

Anna is a professional journalist and project manager to ensure the visibility of Mediart and other local programs.
Anna, believing in the mission of PRAXIS  is helping in developing activities which are based on the philosophy of “Initiactive-Activity-Cooperation”.
Via  non-formal education, Anna mentors and helps young people to acquire abilities which may help them in their own professional future.
