World wide about 2 billion people live in a unstable and conflict ridden situation, of whom the majority by far consists of young people under 29.
They suffer under unemployment, bad labour conditions, low wages, discrimination and or persecution.
For that exact reason the world day of social justice is held, yearly on the 20.th of february.
The day promotes the implementation of the principles of social justice and raises awareness on problems that can be solved through social justice.
The theme for 2019 is: “If You Want Peace & Development, Work for Social Justice”
It urges people world wide to fight for job creation, better working conditions and higher wages for the bottom 40%, to ensure a more equal and peaceful environment.
For myself, being born in to a very privileged position, I do not suffer under these problems, but still I am for more equality and more social justice and I think everybody should fight for this cause regardless of their status, position and privilege.
If we work together we can achieve the goal of defeating conflict and suffering and make the world a more equal place.
